Closed eyes, soft focus: flagged for you
Verdict detects faces, checks eyes and measures sharpness — then shows everything in a close-ups panel. You decide; it never throws anything away for you.
See before you decide
Close-Ups panel
One key (P) shows every face in the photo as a close-up, with a sharpness indicator and eye status. No more zooming photo by photo.
Blink alerts
Photos where a face has closed eyes are flagged and filterable. A lifesaver on group shots.
The best of every burst
Within a sequence, Verdict scores each frame (sharpness + eyes) and crowns the best one. Start from the right photo instead of inspecting them all.
An assistant, not a judge
Analysis runs in the background
Faces in the current photo and in bursts are analysed automatically, without ever slowing your navigation.
Indicators guide you
Green: sharp. Yellow: borderline. Red: soft. Eyes open or closed, shown under each face.
You stay in charge
Verdict shows, you decide. No photo is ever rejected automatically — your eye is the judge.
Frequently asked questions
Does detection work offline?
Yes, everything is computed locally on your machine. No photo ever leaves your computer.
What if a photo is flagged incorrectly?
Nothing happens without you: a flag is information, not a decision. The “Closed eyes” filter simply lets you review them quickly.
Is sharpness measured on the whole image?
Faces first — that's where softness hurts a portrait. Thresholds are calibrated on real files from current camera bodies.
