Find duplicate photos before you edit
On a wedding, you often keep the same frame three times without noticing. Verdict visually analyses your keepers, groups near-duplicates and lets you decide side by side.
Groups, not guesswork
Visual analysis
Detection by image fingerprint on your rated or labeled photos — not just timestamp matching. Adjustable tolerance, from strict to loose.
Compare the whole group
One key (C) opens the entire group side by side with synchronized zoom. Eliminate pane by pane until the survivor.
Groups clean themselves
Remove a star, a color or a tag: the photo leaves its group. A group reduced to one image dissolves — your Duplicates view stays clean.
The anti-duplicate flow
Run the analysis
One click on ⧉ analyses your keepers in the background. A few seconds, even on thousands of images.
Filter the groups
The “Duplicates” filter shows only grouped images, each with its group number.
Decide
C to compare, Backspace to eliminate: the photo loses its marks and leaves the group. The best one stays.
Frequently asked questions
How are duplicates detected?
By visual similarity (image fingerprinting), computed only on your keepers — photos with a rating, color or tag. Rejects are ignored.
Can I adjust the sensitivity?
Yes, three tolerance levels: strict (near-identical), normal, loose (similar framings). Re-run the analysis anytime.
What happens when I eliminate a duplicate?
In compare mode, Backspace removes the pane AND clears its stars, color and tag: it leaves the group automatically. One Ctrl+Z restores everything.
Never deliver the same photo twice again
