Compare, eliminate, decide
Two nearly identical smiles? Select them, press C: Verdict shows them side by side with synchronized zoom — down to face-by-face zoom. Eliminate until one survives.
The duel, explained
Up to the whole group
2, 4, 7 photos… the grid adapts. A duplicate group opens in full, and so does any manual selection.
Synchronized zoom
Click: every pane zooms to the same spot. Drag: they pan together. Comparing sharpness becomes trivial.
Face-by-face zoom
The F key zooms each pane on ITS face #1, #2, #3… The same subject in every frame, even if they moved between shots.
The elimination flow
Enter the arena
Select your candidates (or one photo of a duplicate group) then press C. Panes show their marks: stars, color, tag.
Inspect
Arrows to switch the active pane, click for shared zoom, F for faces. Ratings apply to the active pane only.
Eliminate
Backspace removes the pane — and on a duplicate, clears its marks too. The last survivor stays selected, ready for what's next.
Frequently asked questions
How many photos can I compare at once?
As many as your selection contains: the grid adapts automatically. Beyond six, panes get small — but that's your call.
Is the zoom really synchronized?
Yes: one click zooms every pane to the same point, one drag pans them together. Face mode (F) goes further: each pane follows its own face.
What does Backspace do exactly?
It removes the pane from the comparison. If the photo belongs to a duplicate group, it also clears its stars, color and tag — it leaves the group. Ctrl+Z undoes everything.
Stop hesitating between two photos
Side-by-side comparison is included, with no pane limit.
